Learning outcomes

Al termine del corso, i partecipanti acquisiranno conoscenze su argomenti specifici relativi alle tecnologie digitali e alla prevenzione sanitaria, nonché sulle possibili soluzioni tecnologiche che mirano a un’assistenza sanitaria sostenibile e a migliorare la prevenzione delle malattie, il monitoraggio degli interventi e la cura personalizzata. Inoltre, i partecipanti avranno l’opportunità di entrare in contatto con il team di DARE e i partner coinvolti per ampliare le loro opportunità di ricerca.

Course and workshop offers

This intensive program offers a wide range of lectures and workshops designed to equip participants with the skills needed to tackle the challenges of healthcare prevention through the use of digital technologies. Over the three-day course, experts from various universities and research institutes will share their knowledge on topics ranging from primary and secondary prevention to clinical data management and the implementation of machine learning models in healthcare. Participants will also have the opportunity to work on pilot projects and participate in a hackathon, where they can apply the knowledge gained and collaborate with other professionals in the field.

The programme

The Summer School 2024 program has been carefully designed to address the emerging needs of healthcare prevention and to promote technological innovation in the sector. Topics covered will include the legal and ethical challenges in managing sensitive data, data-driven approaches in healthcare, and the use of digital technologies to improve public health. Each session is led by academics and researchers from prestigious Italian universities, such as the University of Bologna, the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and the University of Palermo, as well as experts from research institutes like the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli. This course represents a unique opportunity to acquire advanced skills and to become part of a network of professionals committed to the revolution of digital healthcare.
