Advanced Training Course in Medical Statistics at the University of Bologna

The three-month course is delivered in Italian, grants 12 university credits (CFU), and aims to provide medical and healthcare professionals with the most commonly used statistical knowledge in the medical field. This will enable them to critically read scientific literature and perform simple data analyses.

The course offers a training program aimed at introducing basic concepts for statistical analysis in the medical and healthcare sciences. The initiative aims to train medical and healthcare personnel involved in clinical and epidemiological research and seeks to enhance their statistical skills to support the scientific publication of research results. Theoretical lectures will be complemented by laboratory sessions, allowing participants to practically apply the topics covered in the classroom. Additionally, participants will prepare a project work focused on the analysis of a concrete case study.
