A community of practice is a group of people who "share a concern or passion for something they do and learn to do it better by interacting regularly." As digital technologies are becoming pervasive in disease prevention and healthcare, we believe it is critical that all stakeholders organise themselves into such a community of practice to accelerate the adoption rate while minimizing the risks that each innovation entails.

is an open forum where we talk to the public about disease prevention and the technologies that make it possible. Here, we talk about healthy living and disease prevention, how to manage existing risk situations, and how to live as well as possible with chronic diseases. It is also where these citizens/patients can, individually or through organisations that represent them, voice their needs regarding prevention. The official language of the forum is Italian, but we are happy to support immigrant citizens who are more comfortable with English.
The Innovation Courtyard
Here, we will talk about radical innovation in the healthcare sector. Researchers, healthcare professionals, innovators, regulators, policymakers, and funders will discuss the best ways to accelerate innovation in digital health. We will discuss unmet needs, relevant research findings, clinical translation, validation and credibility, regulatory issues, business opportunities, etc. The focus is on the cycle that transforms a research product into a widely used solution. The forum welcomes an international audience of innovations, and the primary language of the forum will be English.
The Solutions Bazaar
was born recognising that the digital health market in Italy is still largely immature. There are many small companies, primarily startups, with excellent solutions but few channels to reach potential customers, and many healthcare professionals and health authorities are confused about what can and cannot be done with digital technologies in their environment. The bazaar of solutions is where demand meets supply; Professionals can bring their problems into a pre-commercial space, and suppliers can offer solutions. While focusing on the Italian healthcare system, we welcome international providers. The forum accepts both Italian and English.
The DARE Club
is a space reserved for members of the DARE consortium, and the staff of the institutions that are members of the DARE Foundation. In this forum, we can discuss topics relevant to the consortium, the project, and the foundation and exchange documents related to the project. The official language is Italian.
